About Jenn

My name is Jennifer, but you can call me Jenn! I am a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist at a tech company and a Digital Content Creator in my free time.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for the arts. I’ve cultivated this passion by studying music, dance, and film & television at the Orange County School of Arts through both middle school and high school. Although I’ve been fortunate enough to have seized numerous unique opportunities to further explore these areas, there is one defining moment in my life that I feel brought me to start this blog.

Throughout my life, my parents have produced many bilingual educational videos in English and Vietnamese, which they would sometimes donate to villages in Viet Nam. I frequently acted in their productions, playing the role of “Princess Jennifer”. At one point, my father traveled to one of the communities that had received our videos. He was surprised to find that many of the children there could speak a few English phrases almost perfectly. They repeatedly asked my Dad if he knew “Princess Jennifer” personally. Then, with impeccable accuracy and great enthusiasm, the kids recreated the scenes in which I taught the English alphabet.

When my father returned home and told me this story, my heart warmed. Never before had I considered the possibility that my actions could travel to the opposite side of the globe and make an impact on other people’s lives in this way. I was beyond moved and felt profoundly inspired to take this newly discovered power and run with it.
